One of the main challenges for ferromanganese production in the Middle East is the shortage of raw materials and dependence on manganese ore imports. On the other hand, access to cheap energy, relatively cheap labor, and proximity to large consumer markets in Asia and Europe have created favorable opportunities for the development of this industry in the Middle East. Given the increasing demand for steel and alloy products in the region, investments in the production of ferromanganese and other ferroalloys in the Middle East are expected to increase in the coming years. Overall, although the Middle East is not currently a major player in the global ferromanganese market, with proper planning and attracting foreign investment, it can play a more important role in this industry.
